Your Alaska Permit Test Questions, Answered
Our questions are based on the same source material—the official Alaska Driver Manual. We design our tests to be as close to the real exam experience as possible.
You must hold your learner permit for at least six months and complete 40 hours of supervised driving (10 of which must be in challenging conditions like night driving or bad weather) before you can apply for a provisional license.
For the first six months with a provisional license, you cannot drive between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. and cannot carry passengers under 21 (with some exceptions for family members).
